London police are investigating an incident in a north London neighbourhood.
A heavy presence of uniformed officers was first observed in the area of Attawandaron Road just before 4 p.m. Sunday concerning a weapons investigation. Police remain on the scene as of 6 p.m.
Police say there is no threat to public safety.
Attawandaron was closed between both the east and west portions that meet with Aldersbrook Road.
The area has since re-opened though officers remain on the scene as of 8:15 p.m. while they continue to investigate.
