UPDATE: Missing man found

Update: London police announced Friday afternoon that Mohammad Jamal has been found.

London police are asking for the public's help locating a missing 35-year-old man who they believe has been out in the frigid weather since Wednesday night.

Mohammad Jamal of London was last seen in the area of Trafalgar Street and Bonaventure Drive around 10 p.m. on January 27. He was reported missing to police a day later. Both family and police are concerned for his well-being.

"Mohammad does not have access to a vehicle, and it is believe that he may be on foot in the east end of the city," police said on Friday. "Due to the current weather conditions, we are asking members of the public for assistance in locating him."

Jamal is described as 6'1, 180 lbs, with medium length black hair. He was last seen wearing a green jacket, blue jeans, a blue and white toque, and work boots.

Anyone who sees the missing 35-year-old or knows of his whereabouts is asked to call police at 519-661-5670 or Crime Stoppers at 1-800-222-TIPS (8477).
