Police say they have a suspect in custody after a fatal stabbing in a west London neighbourhood.
Officers were called to a home on Britannia Avenue near Edinburgh Street around 12:30 p.m. Tuesday. When they arrived, they found a woman with stab wounds. She was rushed to hospital with life-threatening injuries. Police later announced that the woman had died in hospital.
"A suspect has been arrested," police said. "The investigation is in its early stages and more information will be released as it becomes available."
