One very lucky London man was finally able to claim his Lotto Max win nearly three months after it was gifted to him.
Chad Parker, a 43-year-old delivery driver calls playing his favourite lottery games a job, little did he know how well it would eventually pay off.
On Boxing Day 2020, Parker scanned a ticket he received from his girlfriend as a Christmas stocking stuffer when he saw 'Big Winner' appear on the screen.
"I was in disbelief!" Parker said. "We spent the rest of the day on cloud nine!"
Parker plans to put his $65,794.50 fortune toward a down payment on a house. He added that he and his girlfriend are looking forward to settling into their future home.
"This feels amazing. I don’t think I ever felt that extreme excitement before!"
