(BlackburnNews.com file photo)A 9-year-old child had to be airlifted to hospital after a crash involving an ATV southwest of London.
The child was riding the machine on Springfield Road in Southwest Middlesex Township when the crash happened just after 7:15 a.m. on Sunday.
Emergency crews were called and the child was airlifted to hospital by air ambulance.
Middlesex OPP described the injuries as "non-life threatening."
No other vehicles were involved in the collision and no charges have been laid.
Hospitals in southwestern Ontario are feeling the effects of underfunding, according to a new report by the CCPA.
Fortunately, no children were on board the bus, but the drivers of both vehicles were taken to the hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.
The man was charged in March with sexual assault offences.
Both couples won in the April 11 draw.
