A London man is accused of "relentlessly" harassing and berating his mother through repeated phone calls and text messages.
According to Aylmer police, a 51-year-old woman began getting the unwanted messages last November. The texts and phone calls were filled with profane language that berated and demeaned the woman, police said.
The woman reported the issue to police last Tuesday.
Officers went to the son's home and instructed him to stop making the calls.
"Despite warnings to cease and desist, the calls continued as well as text messages," police said on Monday.
Charges of criminal harassment have now been laid by way of warrant against a 30-year-old man from London.
