A young man faces several charges after London police say he was found driving a stolen motorcycle.
At around 9:45 p.m. Tuesday, an officer stopped a motorcyclist in the area of Wellington and Southdale roads after noticing the bike had no license plate.
Police say the man attempted to flee but was stopped by the officer and arrested.
The motorcycle was reported stolen in November 2020, London police said in a statement on Thursday.
An 18-year-old London man is charged with dangerous operation, failing to stop for police, resisting a peace officer, possession of property obtained by crime under $5,000, driving without a plate and driving with an improper licence.
He will appear in court on July 21 to respond to the charges.
