Car wash break-in leaves police searching for suspects

London police are hoping the public can help them identify three suspects wanted in connection with a break-in at a south end car wash.

Video surveillance captured three men forcing their way into the Prestige Full Service car wash at 875 Wellington Rd. on April 29. The men snatched cash, tools, personal property, and car keys from inside the business before taking off in a stolen Chevrolet Bolt electric car, police said.

The stolen vehicle was later recovered.

On Wednesday, police released surveillance images of two of the men.

One is described as Caucasian, approximately 5’10”, with a slim build. He was wearing a black hoodie with “Palm Angel” written on the back, a dark face mask, gloves, and had a backpack with a blue ‘digital style’ camouflage pattern.

The second suspect, who is also Caucasian, approximately 5’10”, with a slim build, was wearing a baseball cap with a headlamp attached to it. He had on a black face mask, black hooded sweatshirt, white watch, brown pants, and had a black backpack with ‘Canada’ written on it.

The third suspect was wearing a black jacket and black pants. His hood was pulled over his head and his face was covered.
