Woman faces charges after two South London robberies

A woman has been charged, after the London Police asked for the public's help in multiple robbery investigations.

The first robbery happened on April 15th at the Hasty Market on Belmont Drive in South London.

A woman went into the store at 5:20am, pulled out a knife, demanded cash from the register and ran off.

No one was hurt.

Just over a week later on April 21st, a similar robbery happened at the Circle K at 925 Wonderland Road. A woman pulled out a knife and demanded cash and ran off.

A 42-year-old woman is charged with two counts of armed robbery and two counts of disguise with intent.

She is scheduled to appear in court on Friday.

Police are asking anybody with information on these incidents to call Crimestoppers at 1-800-222-TIPS.
