A driver from London is facing charges after their car collided with a train east of the city.
Just before 7 p.m. Sunday, emergency crews were called to a level train crossing on Nissouri Road in Thames Centre, where a car and train had collided.
Fortunately, the driver of the car suffered just minor injuries. That driver, a 47-year-old from London, is now charged under the Highway Traffic Act with careless driving and disobeying a railway crossing signal.
