Woman charged after fentanyl, meth found in Old East

Charges have been laid against a London woman after police seized $123,800 worth of fentanyl and crystal methamphetamine during a raid in the Old East Village.

Officers with the London police crime gun task force searched a home on Ontario Street near Dundas Street on Thursday. They found 407 grams of fentanyl, 17 grams of crystal methamphetamine, and more than $2,000 cash.

A 43-year-old London woman was arrested. She is charged with three counts of possession of a Schedule I substance for the purpose of trafficking and was scheduled to appear in court on Friday.
