A two-vehicle crash in Southwest Middlesex Township has left one person hurt and a horse dead.
Emergency crews were called to Dundonald Road between Old Airport Road and Buttonwood Drive around 6:15 p.m. Wednesday after a sedan and pickup truck collided.
The force of the crash caused the truck, which was towing a horse trailer, to roll. A horse that was inside the trailer at the time died as a result.
The driver of the sedan was taken to hospital with non-life threatening injuries.
The cause of the crash is under investigation, Middlesex OPP said on Thursday.
