A 43-year-old man is wanted for assault and weapons offences in connection with the stabbing of another man in Strathroy.
Strathroy-Caradoc police were called to a home on Richmond Street last Sunday and found a man suffering from a stab wound. He was taken to hospital with non-life threatening injuries.
According to police, the man was stabbed during an altercation that had escalated between him and another man.
"This is an isolated incident between these two males and there is no known risk to public safety," police said on Friday.
Shawn Jakimczuk, 43, is wanted for aggravated assault, possession of a weapon for a dangerous purpose, and assault with a weapon.
