Londoner charged after weekend crash in St. Thomas

A London man is facing charges after a vehicle attempting to pass another hit a car and a hydro pole in St. Thomas.

Emergency crews were called to the collision on Sunset Drive around 11 p.m. on Saturday.

An investigation by St. Thomas police found a southbound vehicle was attempting to pass a slower vehicle when it collided with a car that was turning left before hitting a hydro pole. Police allege the passing vehicle was speeding at the time of the crash.

Luckily, only minor injuries were reported.

A 20-year-old London man is charged with dangerous operation of a vehicle.
