London police have charged two more people in connection to an incident where a teen was shot to death at a party last Saturday.
Shortly after 1 a.m. July 31, police were called to a large gathering near Pack Road and Grand Oak Cross for a report of a young man in medical distress.
The victim, identified as 18-year-old Josue Silva, died shortly after he was taken to hospital. Police deemed the death as suspicious and later upgraded the case into a homicide investigation.
On Saturday, investigators announced additional murder charges have been laid in connection to Silva's death. As a result, 19-year-old Dylan Schapp and 20-year-old Carlos Guerra Guerra, both of London face charges of second degree murder and assault with a weapon.
On Friday, 19-year-old Emily Altmann of London was charged with second degree murder and assault with a weapon.
In just three days, a GoFundMe set up by close friends of the Silva family to help cover the expenses of the 18-year-old's funeral has reached nearly $45,000 of a $20,000 goal put in place.
