London police confirmed Wednesday morning that Hayley Sheppard had been located and is safe. A day earlier they issued a public appeal for help in finding the teenager.
She had not been seen since July 28 and efforts to find her had been unsuccessful, police said at the time.
Police are now thanking the public for their help in locating Sheppard.
Windsor police were busy once again dealing with a pair of stunt drivers in as many days.
