A third man has been arrested in connection with an assault in downtown London earlier this month that sent another man to hospital in critical condition.
Trey Nicholls is now in custody, London police confirmed on Wednesday. An arrest warrant for the 26-year-old for aggravated assault was issued last Friday. The charge stems from the August 3 assault of a man in the area of Richmond and Kent streets.
The unidentified victim was taken to hospital with serious injuries. That individual remains in critical condition, police said.
Two other people, 23-year-old Antonio Bentley and 20-year-old Yaseen Muhammed, have also been charged with aggravated assault in relation to the case.
