Canada won seven Gold Medals at the 2020 Olympics in Tokyo.
Four of those Gold Medals were either won by a London athlete, or a team with at least one Londoner playing a key role.
Jessie Fleming and Shelina Zadorsky were members of the women's soccer team. Susanne Grainger was on the women's 8 team when they won gold. Damian Warner became the first Canadian ever to win the decathlon. And Maggie Mac Neil, fresh off of winning gold in 100m butterfly at the world championships in 2019, won gold in the same event at the Olympics.
Mac Neil also won two other medals as a member of swimming relay teams, making this the most successful Olympics in London's history.
She spoke to 519 Podcast host Craig Needles about her Olympic experience, what's next and the pride of being a London athlete.
