London police have arrested a man accused of robbing a bank over a month ago.
On July 29 at around 11:15 a.m., police say a male suspect entered a CIBC bank in the area of Wharncliffe Road and Baseline Road. Officers were called after the accused reportedly passed a note to an employee and demanded money. The suspect then fled into a vehicle after he obtained an unspecified amount of money.
No one was injured during the incident.
On August 26, police issued a release asking for the public's assistance in identifying the man.
As a result, a 42-year-old London man is charged with one count of robbery and is scheduled to appear in court on September 2.
Police are thanking the public for their help.
