London police charge Hamilton man with human trafficking-related crimes

London police have charged a Hamilton man with several human trafficking-related offences after a victim came forward over the weekend.

According to investigators, a woman replied to a job advertisement online in early 2019 which led her into what later became an exploitative relationship with a male.

Between March and July of 2019 and then again in April to September of 2020, the woman was reportedly forced to preform sexual acts with other individuals for money.

Police say they were contacted about the incidents on Saturday, and on Monday, officers announced a 26-year-old man is facing charges.

Brady Allan Decoursey of Hamilton is charged with obtaining sexual services for consideration, material benefit from sexual services, procuring/recruiting a person to provide sexual services for consideration, and advertising another person's sexual services.

London police applied for a warrant to charge the accused as he is currently in police custody relating to other matters. He was scheduled to make a court appearance in London on Tuesday.

Anyone with information is asked to call the London Police Service at 519-661-5670. Anonymous tips can also be made to Crime Stoppers by phone at 1-800-222-TIPS (8477), or online www.londoncrimestoppers.com.
