A late night crash near Ilderton has left a snowmobiler with life threatening injuries.
Emergency crews were called to the single-vehicle collision on a trail near Twelve Mile Road west of Hyde Park Road around 11:50 p.m. on Tuesday.
The operator and lone rider of the snowmobile was taken to hospital with critical injuries.
No other details about the crash have been released.
The trail was temporarily closed while the OPP technical collision investigation team was on site. It has since reopened.
The investigation into the cause of the crash is ongoing, Middlesex OPP said Wednesday.
