Freezing rain will keep school buses in Elgin County parked for the day Wednesday.
All school buses in Elgin County, including those headed to schools in St. Thomas, have been cancelled for the day, according to MyBigYellowBus.ca. To see the full list of bus cancellations click here.
Schools within the Thames Valley and London District Catholic school boards remain open despite the bus cancellations. Thames Valley District School Board has pivoted away from a policy introduced in late January that saw full school closures whenever buses were cancelled due to inclement weather. The board will once again maintain in-class learning when school buses are cancelled unless otherwise stated.
School buses in London, Middlesex County, and Oxford County will be running as scheduled on Wednesday.
