Police have charged a 52-year-old London man with second-degree murder in connection to a homicide in the city's north end.
Police were called to a residence in the area of Phillbrook Drive and Billybrook Crescent at about 6:20 p.m. Friday.
Officers found the woman's body inside the residence. A man was taken into custody.
Police have now confirmed the death as a homicide and said that the victim was known to the accused.
The accused appeared in court Saturday and will remain in custody at this time.
Police have not released the identity of the woman or male.
