Police in St. Thomas is investigating three separate thefts from local businesses on Friday.

The first was overnight at a business on Wellington Street where a suspect took sports team jerseys, sports cards, and jewelry.

The second involved a man and a woman who entered a store and stole over $1,100 worth of cosmetics.

The third was at a clothing store. An employee spotted a man running away with about $300 worth of men's clothing.

That suspect was wearing a blue sweater, black puma pants, and a black mask.

In all three incidents, police are waiting for video surveillance of the thefts, and hope to identify the suspects soon.

Officers are also investigating a disturbance early Saturday morning where two men got into a fight in the downtown core.

A man was thrown on the ground by another man and struck his head.

The victim was taken to the hospital for treatment, but his condition is unknown.
