The London Fire Department (LFD) responded to an apartment fire in North London early on Sunday morning.
The fire department reported that the blaze was quickly put out and that while crews cleared the McNay Street building residents were sheltered on a London Transit bus.
One person was sent to the hospital with unknown injuries and a cat was rescued following the fire, LFD said.
Damages have been estimated at $25,000.
