Child pornography charges have been laid against two Woodstock men following two separate investigations.
Officers with the Woodstock police internet child exploitation unit, the criminal investigations bureau and the community response unit searched a home in the city on Wednesday. Police had obtained a search warrant for the residence as the result of a preliminary child pornography investigation.
A 44-year-old Woodstock man is charged with distributing, possession, and accessing child pornography.
The same day, a second man was arrested in relation to an unrelated child pornography investigation. Police released no details about that case.
A 27-year-old Woodstock man is charged with distributing, possession, and accessing child pornography.
The investigation into both men is ongoing, police said.
