Knife used in St. Thomas robbery

St. Thomas police are looking for a suspect after an armed robbery in the city Thursday morning.

A man walked into a business at a plaza at 1063 Talbot Street just after 11:30 a.m., pulled a knife and threatened staff. The man then took off from the store with an unspecified quantity of merchandise.

No one was physically hurt during the robbery, police said.

The suspect being sought by police is described as a young Black man, who is tall, thin, and was wearing a blue surgical mask, sunglasses, a white t-shirt, black shorts, black running shoes, high ankle socks, and a black buffalo bills baseball hat.

Anyone who can identify this man or who has information about the robbery is asked to call police at 519-631-1224 or Crime Stoppers at 1-800-222-8477 (TIPS).
