London man accused in string of sexual assaults arrested again

A London man who was arrested late this spring relating to a sexual assault investigation faces more charges.

Police say 61-year-old Ibrahim Serter was arrested over the weekend after investigators were made aware of additional alleged sexual assaults.

Serter was charged in May with two counts of sexual assault and two counts of sexual exploitation after police were contacted about allegations of sexual assault at his construction business between January and May of this year.

At the time, police believed there could be more victims and a public safety warning was issued.

On Monday, police announced that Serter faces an additional charge of sexual assault and sexual exploitation. He is scheduled to appear in court on September 29.

Investigators believe there still may be more victims and ask that anyone with information call the London Police Service at 519-661-5670.
