A 42-year-old man is facing charges after two security guards were assaulted in the parking lot of a St. Thomas hospital.
St. Thomas police were called about an unwanted person who was in the lot at the St. Thomas Elgin General Hospital on Friday.
Officers arrived on scene to find two security guards had been assaulted. No serious injuries were reported.
A St. Thomas man was arrested and has since been charged with assault. He has been released from police custody and is scheduled to appear in court in relation to the charges on a future date.
