Londoners who have thoughts on what and where the police should be focusing their efforts over the next four years are being asked to participate in an upcoming survey.
Between September 19 and October 16, Forum Research Inc. will be conducting a telephone survey into the community's policing needs. Results of the survey will be used to help the London Police Service identify priorities for its 2024-2027 Strategic Plan, police said in a statement Friday.
Residents will be selected at random for the survey and will have the option to decline. However, police are encouraging those who receive calls to participate.
Londoners not selected for the phone survey can also choose to participate online. A link to the survey will be released through police social media channels next week.
There will also be a series of three community consultations held virtually from 1 p.m. to 3 p.m. on October 19 and 7 p.m. to 9 p.m. on November 3 and 24.
"The community consultations will be open to all citizens including, but not limited to, community groups, institutions, businesses, and members of the public," police said.
Links to the virtual public input sessions will be available through the police website.
