Jogger spots man committing indecent act near London playground

A 44-year-old London man has been charged after a woman jogging saw a man performing an indecent act near a playground.

The woman was on a footpath in the area of Becher Street and Wharncliffe Road South when she spotted the man around 2 p.m. on Sunday. As the woman ran past, the man committed what police describe as an "indecent act" and then took off into a wooded area.

The woman called London police with a detailed description of the man.

A suspect was arrested by officers a short distance away, police said.

A 44-year-old man from London has since been charged with committing an indecent act and failure to comply with an undertaking.

He is scheduled to appear in court in relation to the charges on Tuesday.
