A single-vehicle crash near Parkhill has left one person dead.
Emergency crews were called to the serious collision on West Corner Drive in North Middlesex just after 6:30 p.m. on Wednesday. The vehicle had veered off the road and hit a tree.
The driver and lone occupant of the vehicle was pronounced dead at the scene, Middlesex OPP said. The name and age of that individual has not been released.
The road was closed for several hours as police investigated the cause of the crash. It has since reopened.
