Two Londoners are facing drug trafficking charges after police seized nearly $47,000 worth of cocaine and fentanyl from a home and vehicle in the northeast end.
Officers with the London police guns and gangs section, with the help of members of the emergency response and canine units, searched a home and vehicle on Kipps Lane on Friday. The search turned up 176 grams of suspected cocaine, 128 grams of suspected fentanyl, nine grams of suspected crack cocaine, 36 TEC pills, three digital scales, body armour, and $1,300 cash.
The total value of the drugs seized is $46,980, according to police.
A 37-year-old and 26-year-old from London have been charged with four counts of possession of drugs for the purpose of trafficking.
The 37-year-old is additionally charged with one count of driving while prohibited.
The pair are scheduled to appear in London court later this week.
