Norwich residents saw a heavy police presence in their community late Monday night.
A number of OPP officers, some reportedly with weapons drawn, were seen around a home on Dufferin Street, south of Sunview Drive. Nearby residents were advised to stay inside their homes.
In a social media post, OPP advised they were engaged in an "active incident", but released no specifics.
There is no risk to the public, police reassured.
