The incident happened Saturday at a store in the 1010 Talbot Street plaza. Police said a man was caught stealing from the business and also physically assaulted one worker.
Police arrived at the scene and arrested a 29-year-old male. He is accused of assault, theft, and possession of a controlled substance.
The suspect was held in custody pending a bail hearing.
