London police officers were assaulted while trying to arrest a man who was allegedly performing an indecent act at a downtown intersection.
A caller told police a man was committing the unspecified indecent act at the intersection of Richmond and Oxford streets around 3:30 p.m. on Thursday.
Police arrived and located a suspect.
While police were trying to make an arrest, the suspect resisted and kicked at officers, police said.
None of the officers were hurt, police said.
A 37-year-old London man has been charged with committing an indecent act, resisting arrest, and assaulting a peace officer. He was scheduled to appear in court in relation to the charges on Friday.
