A London police officer sustained a minor injury while trying to arrest a man accused of obstructing an investigation.
Police were attending a call in the area of Adelaide Street North and Kipps Lane at around 3:10 p.m. on Saturday when a man intervened by positioning himself between the responding officers and the person they were dealing with for an unrelated matter.
The man reportedly continued to impede the officers, and when he was informed that he was being placed under arrest, he tried taking off.
One of the officers was assaulted while trying to apprehend the man, however their injuries were deemed not serious.
