A London man is accused of sexually assaulting a woman at a workplace in Aylmer.
According to Aylmer police, an 18-year-old woman went to police headquarters last Friday to report the incident that had allegedly taken place five days earlier.
An investigation determined the woman was at her place of employment on Talbot Street when a male co-worker began making sexual advances toward her. The man grabbed the woman by the wrist and pulled her into a washroom where he lifted her shirt and sexually assaulted her, police said.
The man reportedly blocked the door so the woman could not leave and recorded the assault on his phone. He then allegedly threatened that if the woman reported the attack he would get her fired.
A 20-year-old London man was arrested and has been charged with sexual assault, forcible confinement, distributing an intimate image without consent, and making threats and retaliation against employees.
The name of the business was not released.
