The London Fire Department was called about a woman floating in the water in the area of Clarke Road around 5 p.m. Crews launched a rapid deployment craft (RDC) and marine 2 to rescue the woman.
No injuries were reported.
On Monday, London police confirmed the investigation into the incident was ongoing.
