One person is dead and another is fighting for life in hospital after two separate weekend collisions involving trains in London.
Emergency crews were called to the area of Maitland and York streets just after 7 a.m. on Saturday where a pedestrian had been hit by a train.
The man was taken to hospital with injuries described as critical. London police did not have an update on the man's condition Monday morning.
A second pedestrian was hit by a train in the area of Highbury Avenue and Trafalgar Street around 1 a.m. on Sunday.
That individual was pronounced dead at the scene.
The name and age of the deceased have not been released.
Neither collision was related to a rail crossing, police said.
