Health unit looking for dog after biting incident

The Southwestern Public Health Unit is looking for information about a dog after a person was bit in Thamesford.

The incident happened Tuesday evening between 7:50 and 8:00 on Thamesford Public School property, the health unit said.

Southwestern Public Health is looking for information about the dog to prevent the bitten individual from further rabies treatment.

The dog is described as a medium sized black lab/mix. Two men and one woman were with the dog at the time of the incident.

Anyone with information about a dog fitting this description, is asked to contact Southwestern Public Health and speak to Public Health Inspector Serena Roberts at 519-421-9901 ext 3453.
