Those who hunt for the cheapest gas around the city will have to find a different way into the south end's Costco.
Starting Monday, Dingman Drive will be closed between Highway 401 and the east entrance to the Costco gas station near Wellington Road South.
City crews will begin the Dingman Drive Improvements Project, an effort to widen the stretch of road from two lanes to four. The project will also add improvements including multi-use asphalt pathways, landscaping, traffic signals, and streetlights, while simultaneously repairing and replacing underground infrastructure.
The closure is expected to last until mid-October.
Drivers will be detoured along Wellington Road South, Westminster Drive, and White Oak Road.
