A 28-year-old man is facing an impaired driving charge after allegedly crashing into a pair of vehicles and a house in Aylmer last week.
Aylmer police were called to the area of John Street North and Spruce Street around 1:30 p.m. last Monday for reports of a vehicle ramming other cars.
When police arrived they found a vehicle crashed into a nearby home.
Investigators determined that a vehicle had pulled into a local Tim Hortons parking lot where it hit a parked car. The vehicle then reversed and accelerated into a second parked car before driving off and crashing into a house.
An Aylmer man was arrested and taken to hospital in St. Thomas due to his "level of intoxication," police said.
The man has since been charged with impaired driving and refusing to provide a breath sample. He has been released from custody and is scheduled to appear in court in relation to the charges next month.
