UPDATE: Police identify victim of "suspicious" death

London police have confirmed that the victim of a suspicious death near Glen Cairn was a 16-year-old boy.

Police have determined that a fight between a group of male youths is what caused the victim's injuries.

When police arrived, the teen was found with life-threatening injuries. Paramedics transported the victim to hospital where he succumbed to his injuries. He has since been identified as Malik McDonnell-Mills, 16, of London.

Members of the London Police Service Major Crime Section have taken over the investigation. Police remain in the area on Thursday and will be flying the Remotely Piloted Aircraft System (RPAS) in the area to assist.

More information will be given as it becomes available.

Anyone with information about the incident is asked to call London police at 519-661-5670, or Crime Stoppers anonymously by phone at 1-800-222-TIPS (8477), or online at London Middlesex Crime Stoppers.
