A single-vehicle crash on the western edge of St. Thomas has left one person with "significant" injuries.
Emergency crews were called to the collision on Fingal Line early Sunday morning.
According to St. Thomas police,the driver was found suffering from significant injuries as a result of the crash. Paramedics took the driver to hospital for treatment.
A 65-year-old St. Thomas resident has been charged with dangerous driving.
This was the second serious collision in the London-area over the weekend. Two teens were killed when two vehicles collided at Ilderton and Wonderland roads in Middlesex Centre Saturday night.
A 17-year-old passenger in one of the vehicles was pronounced dead at the scene. The drivers of both vehicles were taken to hospital with serious injuries. The one driver - a 17-year-old - later died from their injuries, police confirmed on Monday.
