Police looking for men who abandoned boat in Port Stanley

Provincial police are trying to track down two men who abandoned a boat at the Port Stanley Harbour.

Elgin OPP were called about the vessel on Wednesday.

Officers determined two men docked the boat in the Port Stanley channel south of the bridge around 1:15 p.m. last Friday. The men then unloaded several items into a Home Depot branded rental van and left the area.

The men are described as White and are believed to be in their mid-fifties.

Investigators would like to speak to the two men or the owner of the boat.

The investigation is ongoing, police said.
