Woodstock police are asking for the public's help tracking down the driver and SUV involved in a weekend hit-and-run.
A white GMC Acadia was heading north on John Davies Drive west of Lansdowne Avenue around 5 p.m. on Sunday when it collided with a parked vehicle. The force of the crash sent the vehicle from the shoulder of the road onto the grassy boulevard.
No one was inside the parked vehicle at the time, police said.
Damage is estimated at $4,000.
The suspect vehicle, which may be an AT4 model Acadia, will have substantial damage to its passenger side. A surveillance photo of the SUV believed to have been involved was released to the public on Wednesday.
Police are asking anyone with information about this incident to call them at 519-537-2323 or Crime Stoppers at 1-800-222-TIPS (8477).
