London police are renewing their appeal to the public for help finding a man who has been wanted since January for a string of break-ins near Western University.
Marouane Zatouf is wanted in relation to numerous charges and has several outstanding arrest warrants, most recently for failing to attend court, police said on Friday.
An arrest warrant was originally issued in mid-January for the 33-year-old. Charges against him included breaking and entering, possession of property obtained by crime under $5,000, possession of an identity document, trespassing at night, mischief under $5,000, and failure to comply with a release order.
The charges stem from a pair of break-ins and a prowling incident on January 14 on University Crescent and Patricia Street. Surveillance cameras captured video of the suspect in both cases. Items stolen during those break-ins were found during the search of a south London home in the days that followed.
At the time, police released a photo of Zatouf and asked anyone with information about his whereabouts to call them.
Months later, Zatouf has still not been arrested, prompting the new appeal for help in locating him.
Anyone who sees Zatouf or knows where he might be is asked to call police at 519-661-5670 or Crime Stoppers at 1-800-222-TIPS (8477).
