Nine people - three from Sarnia, four from Ailsa Craig, and two from London - have been arrested after search warrants were executed in Lambton and Middlesex counties on Wednesday.
Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) said a motor vehicle was stopped by police at around 4:45 p.m.
Two people were arrested and a quantity of suspected fentanyl and methamphetamine was seized.
Police then searched a home on George Street in Sarnia, where one person was arrested.
A short time later, police searched a home on Creamery Road in Ailsa Craig, where another six people were taken into custody.
Five weapons, and a quantity of suspected fentanyl, cocaine, methamphetamine, drug trafficking paraphernalia, cell phones, and cash were seized.
Members of London's Organized Crime Enforcement Bureau (OCEB) and the Middlesex, Oxford, Brant and Lambton Community Street Crime Units, were assisted by the OPP West Region Tactics and Rescue Unit, and members of the Sarnia Police Service.
