A woman is dead after a collision involving a pedestrian in southwest London on Wednesday morning.
Emergency crews were called to a parking lot on Wonderland Road South, north of Southdale Road around 8:50 a.m. where a woman who was walking was hit by a vehicle.
The woman suffered life-threatening injuries and was taken to hospital. Shortly after her arrival, the woman was pronounced dead, London police said. Her name has not been released.
The driver involved in the collision stopped and remained at the scene.
Officers with the police traffic management unit are investigating.

This is the second fatal collision involving a pedestrian in London this week.
On Sunday afternoon, a pedestrian was hit on Adelaide Street North near Glenora Drive. William Robinson, 83, of London died at the scene. The driver of one vehicle involved stayed at the scene, but a second vehicle believed involved did not, according to police. Investigators continue to look for that vehicle.
